Set Clear Goals: When you know your goals, it is easier to come out of your comfort zone as you know which path you are following and what is your goal.
Start with small steps: Take small steps, don't do anything major when you start. Taking bigger steps first would push you again in your comfort zone.
Change your routine: When you come out of your comfort zone, you take time to adjust to new settings, which would require you to change your routine.
Develop acceptance for discomfort: Many times you are not ready to face discomfort, hence you can't step out of your comfort zone.
Seek support: Take help of your peers, loved ones or well-wishers if you need any help.
Overcome anxiety: There is always an anxiety of new type of work, where you might not feel comfortable. Just practice some mind exercises to overcome this anxiety.
Educate Yourself: Know your work very well and know how to deal with queer and unusual situations.
Reflect on Past Successes: Recall how you have achieved success in your past and try to repeat the things you followed at that time in the current situation.
Stay open-minded: Keep your mind open to new things, be ready to explore new things.
Learn From Others: Read about the success stories of others and see how they came out of their comfort zones and succeded in their lives.
